ECT gauge install question

05' f250 - Where do i route to? I'm using the ev2 isspro gauges. I researched it a bit, one of the only places i saw listed was at the engine block plug on the drivers side. Are there any other options or is this best place to put it?

could i tee into one of the lines from my coolant filter?

There is a coolant temp sensor near the t-stat as well.. would be the most accurate place next to the block. You could tap the bypass lines, but it wouldn't be as accurate due to filter clogging, heater core, etc...
