Trucks i'n the shop
Well the trucks i'n the shop for two front axle seals an a new steering box
It's been wandering for quite some time. Then a couple of days ago I left i'n my truck and noticed a huge puddle. So i took it to the gm dealership where my dad works. They get the front end apart and don't have the right tools to get the seals out!! So their going to tow it to ford dealership. And when they were test driving it and the steering box locked up. Now I'm stuck driving a little mercury sable.Till the truck is fixed. Man this sucks. Haha I started a tractor this morning, had to get some diesel for the day. My truck only has 105,000 miles I can't believe the steering box is shot? Is this a normal thing? Sent from my iPhone using Autoguide |

Dropped mine off today as well (at a Ford dealership though). It sucks. Mine were the typical 6.0 flaws, but it is under warranty. At least my other ride is a motorcycle.

but I know some die hard ford mechanics there. It really sucks not having my truck. I barely slept last night knowing my truck was at the dealer. And I forgot to de tune it. So whoever test drives it is i'n for a ride. Haha. I had at least a dozen people at school call looking for me. Because they couldn't find my truck. Can't wait to get it back Sent from my iPhone using Autoguide |

so i went to the shop today and they haven't started taking it apart yet. two people have diagnosed it one said its the steering box, the other said its the ball joints and tyrod ends. the warranted company is being a pain in the a$$. they are only going to pay for 1.7 hours
they said thats what it should take. wtf. its a $1900 job, and they are only paying for 1.7 hours at $125 a hour????? so what the hell good is a warranted. i told them to just fix the f-ing thing whether its covered or not. i cant be without a truck anymore. they can deal with the warranted company ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :bangi ng:![]()

That sucks to hear. The worst part is dealing with warranty or insurance companys.
But is your phone the reason all the "in" are spelled " i'n " ? haha |

Man that sucks for you. I always tell people to stay away from those aftermarket warranty companies because all I ever hear is this kind of crud when something needs work. Hope you get it resolved soon.
