I got my insight installed today in the dash pod, seemed pretty simple. Then found out it doesn't read EOT....what the #$%@. Found somewhere online that it may need an update. Installed the disk on my computer and the new fusion software from edge, plugged in the insight.........it says there are no updates needed! #$%@! Well, the EGT probe that I drilled and tapped in should work at least. NO! It still says N/A just like it did before! I should have got the sct livewire or normal gauges because I'm starting to believe this edge insight is a POS!

the EOT PID is vehicle specific so you have to look under Ford PID's. It is there. As far as the thermocouple I cannot help you there.

It is in there, some where there should be a list of pids.
Here is a picture of one that has EOT on the display. Edge Insight CS vs. CTS Maybe send Him a PM and see if He can direct you. |

Thanks, I ended up finding it that way, kind of interesting, but I found it. The egt has to be turned to a different reading like boost, etc. and then back to the egt and it works. I can't believe how frustrating it was only an hour ago, but now it appears to be working just fine. Computers....love and hate.
