Having a heck of a time finding coolant! Please help
So I am having a heck of a time finding coolant. I was able to find the napa that has the Zerex stuff @ $22/gal and need to buy the case at 6gal; we only need 3 correct? Any other ideas or places where to get an EC1 rated coolant would be awesome! I am hoping this international/cummins place has the restore and restore plus, but I have to wait till Monday to call.

There's at least a half dozen folks on here that purchased theirs through Napa including myself and none of us (as far as I know) had to purchase the entire case. I'd ask why they're making you purchase this by the case.

The international/cummins place should carry some form of EC-1 rated coolant or any tractor/semi place should (Case/cat/kenworth,etc). Oh, and when you do the flush you need about 3.5ish gallons so you'll need to buy 4.

Awesome guys thanks! There is a freightliner not to far, going to wait till tomorrow (not open on sundays) And ask what they have for coolant as well as restore/restore plus! I will also check with that Napa and ask why i have to order the case.

Napa told me they could not get it. The Oreilly's manager ended up getting some in for me next day. He said they were gonna stock it from now on in their store. I got 4 gallons of the concentrate for $21 per gallon.

If you have a CarterCat place nearby, they always have the EC-1.
