That does look gooood! Do you mind if I ask what just the parts cost to do the conversion?

Awesome! Glad to see you got it all finished. I've always liked the height, stance and insane wheel offset. Now it's very aggressive with the new look. Certainly one of a kind.

Parts and paint totaled about $2600, thats without the front bumper... the road armor was $1000, there was a couple 08 front bumpers in Craigslist for $200, so i would say you could get it done for under $3000.. biggest costs are tailgate, mirrors, both about $500, and hood and fenders is about $500, paint about $700, misc little parts make up the rest, but add up quick...... labor is insane, i mean insane... took about 60 hours of hardcore fab work... i have post that shows it you could search for.... i guess a lot of that was mounting the road armor, whereas if you just did a stocker it would be less work, but i was suprised how much work and fab it was, and im not new to fab work..... thanks for the comments guys

Very nice...I like it alot...
I am still very mixed on what I want to do with mine. I just spent 7k on the engine redoing studs, gaskets, new heads, and adding on the FULL Bulletproof diesel kit. If I end up keeping this truck, the front end conversion will be one of the next things on the list since the tailgate and mirrors are already done. |

Armyguy, thats about the same way i looked at it, told the wife I was either buying an new truck or doing this to mine... went and looked at the 2011s, love um! but the payments combined with the fact i would have to start over with lift and tires if i wanted to, it was overwhelming... This one is almost paid off, and still under warranty, I dont think I can have a better truck then one without payments.... so i decided to keep her! i cleared this conversion with my local dealer and they said they would still do warranty work with the new body work up front....... ive got one year left on warranty, then I will mod the engine with the stuff in my sig, and hopefully have a motor that can compete with the likes of the 6.7L...
