new to me 6.0

soooooo i just got home with my new used, 05 f250 ccsb lariat fx4, 86k, has a small lift looks like 4" in front 2" in the rear.afe intake and some kind of 4" ex turbo back straight pipe w/ NO CAT OR MUFFLER, they tried to tell me it was perfectly legal to drive / own / sell/ inspect a truck with no converter after i explained federal law and epa regulations ( not that i give a rats a** and it just saves me from having to take them off myself, but the point of me being right and them being wrong) they gladly agreed to lower the price, it feels more potent than it should for stock, there is an egt probe in the down pipe but the guages are gone and when i asked if it was programmed or chipped they said "whats a program? " im anxious to get it on the lift tomorrow at work and go through it with a fine tooth comb and see what else they tried to hide. looks decent overall though.
the crappy part was the 5 hours we spent at the used car dealer ! what a bunch of morons no one had a clue what was going on if i had a dollar for every time i heard "it will be just a few more minutes" i could have paid cash for the truck!
i will try to get some pics up soon, maybe someone here knows the previous owner or some history on the truck ?

maine, bought the truck in NH, been here for a while but thanks. i had a 6.0 before ..... ecsb f350 , went to a 6.4 and wasnt super happy with it, didnt like the payment either. so now im back in a 6.0 ......... just hope this truck is of better quality than the people i had to deal with today!

sabattus. and you? if it is ok to post where i bought it ill gladly tell everyone where not to shop, and no it wasnt berlin city.
and after all the bs, the guy says ok "JUST PUT YOUR PLATES OFF THE OLD TRUCK ON THE NEW ONE AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO" didnt even want to give me temps. i told him i wasnt getting bagged for illegal attachment after another hour and my third threat to leave with the old truck i had my temp plates!
