Sinister coolant bypass users.
I've got the Sinister kit going on my truck tomorrow after I finish the flush. The directions that came with it are not the best and the pics are a little dark. I know the one hose runs across the fan shroud but where does the other go. I know it goes in the hose on the passenger side that runs up and along the firewall. My question is where at in the hose do I put it. There is something in line already I don't know if it some kind of valve or what but do I put it inline before or after this plastic peice.
Thanks in advance |

You need to place your "T" forward of that heater valve right next to the oil fill tube.
I disconnected the hose from the valve you're talking about and then also from the front connection, leaving me holding a 10 or 12 inch, slightly bent (in two places) section of hose. I cut out 1" from the middle and installed my "T" connection there. Connected the hose from my bypass and then re-installed the hose that I had removed. Viola! |
