Reporting Headgasket, EGR cooler Failures

I'm wondering with as many common failures with Oil cooler related, EGR failures and blown headgaskets, If these are getting reported. Like Ford's 6.0 failures, GM/ Chevy's Durmax had injector failures that was cause for GM to repair them up 200,000 due to the frequency of failure rate. With Ford's billions in profit, and the common failure of the 3 items, it seems there should be some grounds for legal work. Anyone have any info on this issue?

Last I heard Ford and International were still in litigation regarding the 6.0 debacle. Not sure anymore though. I can't find much on it.

I did run across some info saying there is a class action lawsuit against International in several states. Business Week was supposedly the origianal source but I can't find it now.

Edit: Oops found it. Bing sucks, yay Google. http://www.businessweek.com/news/201...-lawsuits.html

Dec. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Navistar International Corp., a maker of commercial and military vehicles, said it is the subject of five lawsuits that could be granted class-action status stemming from “design and manufacturing defects” in truck engines it made for Ford Motor Co.

Navistar said today in a regulatory filing Brandon Burns sued last month in California seeking class-action status for owners and lessees of Ford vehicles with Navistar 6-liter power stroke engines for the model years 2003 through 2007. Four other lawsuits have since been filed seeking class status in Utah, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi
