harley headlight conversion

Can someone point me in the right direction where I could find some harley headlights to put on my 2003 front end. I found some on ebay but not sure how trustworthy they are what do you guys think. Thanks.

from what ive read and personally experienced, the only way to go to ensure you wont leak is the oem ones, next best bet is the depot lights from certifit, thats what i have and they are holding up pretty well so far. ebay ones are worthless

There are quite a few people that are running the ebay/eagle eyes without problems. The few who have had problems used a little silicon and reinstalled, no big deal.

Where can I get some oem ones? I don't want to have to use silicone I'll just pay for the good ones

Before you make the switch think about this. While they look better than the headlights you have now, the light pattern they make is terrible! They are the worst headlights I have ever had on any vehicle and the high beams are useless unless you have modded fog lights on with them. I'm not sure if doing the HID conversion on them helps. I know they are significantly brighter, but don't know if they pattern is any better.

If you want to do make the switch and don't mind a little more work, find a set of Ford stock headlights, remove the lens's and paint the inside black, seal them back up and don't worry about quality or lack of that is available on fleabay.

Not true fellow stroker .. My eagle eyes from Ebay are real nice and have had no water issues or condensation problems...

Oh and My high beams work just fine .....

You would really rather spend $300-$400 more rather that MAYBE have to put a little dab of silicon? I have a set of OEM lights on my truck, I'll sell 'em to ya for $375.

Seems like a pretty decent deal considering you get the wire harness. I did my conversion back in 05 when there were no aftermarket lights available and only dfuser made the wire harness.
