update on progress.
Hey everyone. I finally got the project on the 6.0 ex done.
A recap.ARP Studs,oil cooler, egr cooler delete and egr delete, complete turbo rebuild and recondition, head gaskets and clean intake manifold.
Finished it on Sunday then had to made a 600 mile run today. Talk about a huge difference. First off sounds better turbo is louder and stronger. Truck runs smoother and stronger and best of all 19.0 MPG. the best I ever saw before the project was. 14.1 on a run to Florida and back.the average before was 13.6.
19.0 mpg and I don't even have a tune on it yet. Any suggestion? Looking for fuel economy. More power is a bonus.
