Serious opinion--

Im going to look at an 03 F350 CC tomorrow. I dont know really anything about the truck, but what i do know is the body is prestine as well as interior BUT it has 137k miles on it. To me that seems a bit extreme and thats what im here to ask. I recently purchased my 03 F350 but it only had 90k on it (which my g/f has pretty much taken over hence why im looking at another one).

What do you guys think on the mileage. I dont know all that much about fords but i know thats when dodges really begin to go to crap. Lemme know what you guys think ill probably be going to look at it tomorrow.

P.S. I dont know the price he didnt say.

if it drives fine and firm, then run with it. like you said the interior and exterior are pristine, hopefully the truck is to. (pop the hood for sure).

yea will prolly drive it to a diesel tech friend's first have it looked over real well and also put in for an oasis

Have it checked out by a mechanic but it should be good to go depending on the oasis

get the vin and try and get an oasis. I don't think the oasis shows work done post 100k. good luck.

get it checked, or atleast have an OASIS run on it. miles on a diesel dont matter as much from what i understand, as long as its taken care of! if it has a clean OASIS then i say it may be a deal.

It likely was a highway vehicle (or one would hope with that many miles!) -- so just find out all the info you can ie. oasis and any info from the dealer and just drive it.

take it out and get on it - run it down the highway -- hell, have them let you take it for a weekend (or 2-3 days during the week). Thats what my wife and I did in March when we bought our '01 w/92K on the clock.

i bought my 03 with 98k on it i am up to 116k now and its still runningg strong so far

they sold it already these things are impossible to come by at a reasonable price. Im on a tight budget and cant find anything affordable.

he!! my truck has 243k I hope it'll last another 137k it pulled around lawnmowers all its life until we got it but it runs great. You would kinda think that it belonging to a grass crew that they would have beat the crap out of it but its fine. Knock on wood, ive only had one problem with it...a few sensors went bad but it still runs strong and when it bites the dust imma tear it down and build her back up!!! love my 7.3!
