New to diesel seeks advice

Just picked up my truck last week. Its a 2006 Amarillo edition with 87k on the clock. Skyjacker lift, Straight piped and bully dog GT tuner. I know the 6.0s were plauged with issuses. Where do i go from here is my question. Im not going to be doing much to the truck. just driving it. i want to make sure i tackle any and all issused my truck could have before they happen. What are some things i should change or fix on my truck. what is a good fuel additive? any help is appreciated

Thanks steve

Get rid of that Bully Dog tuner. The concensus is that basically the only type of tuner to have on a 6.0 is a SCT device with some custom tunes. Quite a few of the other tuners cause major issues with either the engine or the trans. Just a thought. Also flush the coolant and change to an ELC coolant at the same time get a bypass coolant filter on it.

{RANT}Maybe it's just me but I sure do hate when people come on here and make this statement. What issues are they "plauged" with? I don't mean to be an A-hole so please don't take it that way. I'm just curious if these trucks are plagued with problems why did you buy one?{/RANT}
