holy hell thats complicated... i did this on my last SD, and was thinkin about doing it again, just pull the switch pannel out and jump the high beam pos to the fogs, then everytime you hit high beams you get the fogs...... that other way probably works too, but dang looked like a lot of work. in order to find the wires, just use a tester, turn on highs, find the hot wire, turn on fogs, find the hot wire... then jump the highs to the fogs... done deal

I hooked my fogs to my upfitter, that way I can have them on with low, hi, or just the fogs alone. Also might want to be careful around police. It is a $250.00 fine here for having hi's on w/fogs. Thats why its wired from the factory for the fogs turn off automatically when the hi's are turned on. On the other hand you can see deer and animals o whole lot better with fogs & hi's on.

With this mod, you can run the fogs when ever and how ever you want.

fogs

fogs/low beams

fogs/high beams

Or even full moon lighting (no lights at all!) (done a closed track)

Did the fog light overRide mod yesterday. Now I can run my fogs with my high beams! Works great. Thanks for the help guys. It took no time to do this mod. Took longer to gather everything up than it did to actually do the mod. I recommend this for anyone that has fogs and wants more light at night! lol
