Restore Flush with EGR cooler and oil cooler?

I have heard that flushing a system that you have no knowleage if it has been flushed before is asking for trouble. I was going to do restore and then restore plus. I don't know if I have ford gold and the truck had 195K miles. Is it safe to do the flush? I was planing on doing and delete but I was not going to mess with the oil cooler. I have not had a problem with using or puking coolant. I am also adding a coolant filter. Should I do the flush or just add what I lose putting the filter kit on?
