-9 cold start vid

someone else posted a cold start vid so i thought i might as well make one truck was not plugged in!!! last night i plugged the cord into the truck then i forgot to flip the switch inside

Two things.

One dont waste your time cycling the GP's more than once. When the WTS light turns off crank it.

Two a 5w40 synthetic is your friend

thats kinda what i thought. dont the GP's stay on after the idiot light shuts off? so their is no reason to cycle them. and i did just change my oil to rotella T6 5W-40 it made A LOT of difference cold starting

Not a bad start for not being plugged in. Also, the glow plugs stay on for 120 seconds as per the Ford Diesel Supplement.

The Rotella T6 is great in the cold weather. I'm very happy I switched to a 5w-40 immediately after I got the truck.
