What are you guys using for replacement batteries?

Mine have just about had it, but I'm not excited about blowing my wad on a pair of Motorcraft's.

Anything else decent in a BXT-65-850?

Thanks.

I put a pair of Walmart, yes Walmart, Everstart Maxx 850cca's on mine and they work like a champ. I think I paid about $160 for the pair with installation and have a 3 year full replacement warranty. I read somewhere on here they were the same battery as the Autozone Duralast but it was about $50 cheaper to get them at Wally world.

I just bought a pair of Interstate Megatron's 850 CCA, 1000 CA's each. 3 year full warranty and 84 month pro rated I think. Boy do they spin that motor fast. Got 'em cheap too.

Energizers from WalMart. Used them in a lot of other vehicles before and they've been awesome. Good warranty too.

If you have Costco - I put in their house brand 850's. They are made by Johnson Control who makes most everyone else's batteries too, including the Everstart from Wally World and Interstate brand batteries. 74 each

Costco has a 3 year non-pro-rated warranty, no questions asked. Wal-Mart quoted me a 1 year warranty, pro-rated. Same as O'Reilly, Autozone etc.

I wanted to go with DieHard Platinum (made by Odyssey) but they are 210 each.

Dont go with the interstates..... im on my third set now of the 1000cca's... they are great for a few months but have left me stranded 4 times on cold mornings when i couldnt plug it in....

First set had a cell die in less than six months, and on the second set the housing actually cracked a week after they put them in. thank god both were covered under warranty
