looking to buy a 03 f250 powerstroke questions

Hey I am new to the forum been doing little research but would like to know what to look for when i go look at this truck.. its a 2003 F250 with 111k miles with a 14" lift and 46" tires. any one know about what mpg i could be looking to get outta it. I called the dealership and they said its getting a new egr put on and they will call me when its done. If I do buy the truck I planed on putting the egr delete and changing the coolant and doing the fuel mod, but Im little scared of the 6.0 just because of all the stuff people have said about it. well thanks for your time in advance.

Dont buy if you wants some miles.LOL Not with 46's. I like my 03 no major issues at all. When you say fuel mod you talking about the bb or the spring. If you do either , gauge is recommended.

welcome to the org. I would look for a 03 7.3 that truck will last for ever.

I'm not sure which fuel mod to do was looking at either one was gonna do more research

I woulnt go with a 7.3 but thats my preferance.
Ive been told not to use the Gillette spring as it boosts pressure to much. So if your gonna do the spring I would go with the Ford upgraded.
