First oil change ?'s

So I've had my truck for a couple of months now and not knowing how old or what type of oil is in it I figured I would go ahead and change it. I'm thinking about going with the Rotella T6. The truck has 124,000 miles on it and I just wanted to see if there was any reasons I should not use a full synthetic oil. Thanks for the help.

Go with the T6. It is way better than Dino oil.

Good luck on the change. I am not knowledgeable on the PSD yet but went to the oil that I prefer on my race bikes and other small engines. (amsoil) I just changed out yesterday on the PSD, then put on 300 miles, so too soon to comment.

jkjk, i just switched to t6 last week so im still seeing if theres a difference. i have 150k tho.
