Gentlemen, I have read how important it is to monitor vital temps coming out of the evil 6.0. Where do I go on E-bay or other sites to find the proper equipment. Can a newbie like me install this ??? Thanks POOP.

Check out the Edge Insight CS or CTS it's the simplest gauge setup you can buy. It plugs right into the OBDII port which is just above the fuel pedal.

Me thinks buying one of these before the truck is maybe not a bad idea so you can plug it in during the test romp?

I have the ScanGauge II and love it. It's mounted just below my light switch. It's very simplistc and not nearly as sexy as the Edge but you can find them for $160 and they work just as good.

Sounds cheap. Does it display EOT/ECT/EGT on the same screan for you? Or do you have to flip through?

The Scangauge can display everything but the EGT. I myself have a seperate gauge for this. Here's the complete list of what the Scangauge can do:

I have the insight in my truck, going to instal another set in a friends truck before the game today. Also, yea, if you can have them before buying a truck, good stuff! Just plug and play for the oil and coolant check!

Yes. You can monitor 4 seperate parameters at once with the Scangauge.
