I just moved to southern Oregon from Santa Barbara. Although the climate is a little different, the cost of living is a lot better! But people here are kinda sore about us moving up here.

The big question is, what are you going to, or what do you want to do for work? Right now we all know jobs are in tight supply!

And in washington. Can't Blame em. California pretty much belongs to illegals and people that no longer have employment these days.

Oceanfront property in nevada sounds pretty enticing.

Here is the problem with Ca. It belongs to those with to much money or no money. The people in the middle who keep the state moving have no opinion any longer. I work my but off as does my wife, we both claim married and zero all year long yet every year we end up paying an additional 5 - 7k just cause we work. The people who dont work get 10k back and i just dont understand. Diesel is reaching 4 dollars a gallon, i have to keep all this smog crap on my truck and the best thing anyone can say is keep on working your better than them. I hear texas is awesome though, would not mind that at all.

I hear ya bro. I work for the Feds and living in SB was rough money wise. I'm originally from the valley and know exactly what your going through. The middle class seems to get the shaft more than anyone. I guess I was really lucky getting the promotion that allowed me to move up here. But it all depends on what your career is and where those jobs are. The rest of my family is stuck in socal since that's the only place that their industry is. Sorry for your frustrations. Hopefully Cali will get better as time goes on, but it's not really looking like it.

Western NY is the same way. Married people with no kids are totally **** on. We are penalized for making smarter life choices. If you were a single parent you could make 22k a year off the state plus an 8k tax return, all for NOT WORKING!!

Cali has too many diesels with cats, illegal’s, and liberals. Leave! I am in Pittsburgh which has liberals but they are just confused. Still think the town runs on steel mill unions.

p.s. ZERO diesel emissions.

I don't want to get started on this because right now I don't feel like typing that much. But, I'm with you, I hate this state. And if I could build a client base like I have here, somewhere else, I'd be gone like a fart in the wind.
