Depends on which engine you drive as to if and how often you should push WOT.

The 6.0 needs to have its EGR valve cleaned out, and keep the VGT from sticking, two ways to help with this is to run WOT about every other week or so. So officially, about once a week I get aggressive with the throttle on mine

Lol! My wife gets on me all the time about how i drive. I am building houses in a subdivision that i live in, so i drive about 2 miles a day at 10mph. so when i get out onto a real road i have a tendancy to burn a lot of rubber and do boosted launches! I cant help my self

I may do it once or twice every 50 miles or so, just to blow out the turbo.

I know after reading this site i put my foot into it a lot more.

Then i upgraded the exhaust and i put my foot into even more LOL.

I dont have any really good hills, or stretches to gain a lot of boost on. SO i just to keep it at 10 PSI as much as i can as thats acceptable acceleration around here.

I guess i could lock it in second and push the RPMs a bit more.

On Saturdays i tend to get out on a longer drive and can get the turbo to mid 20s but not for a long time
