Brakes

How many miles did you guys get on your set of brake pads. And what did you replace them with. Mine looks like they are about done. Thanks in advance.

I just put new front pads and rotors on mine a couple of months ago. Truck had 53k miles at the time, I used Motorcraft parts that I got at jobber price a little over $300.00 for the parts. Just did the wifes Mercedes this weekend and the parts for it was just over $200.00 at dealer cost, all Mercedes parts. For me I just feel better putting the factory stuff back on them as it was made for that vehicle.

Mine had over 100k and I put the middle of the road pads from O'Reilly. Don't see the need for the slotted, cyro'ed rotors. JMHO...

i did rear pads and rotors at 51k when i bought the truck. i could tell they were the original. fronts had just been done also
