From what i have been told it shouldnt only be up to a 15 degree diff. It sounds like oil cooler and egr failure. Ur at 22 degree diff so i would jump on it before it breaks the bank.

You should get that truck in the shop first chance you get. My temps were only 19* different and I had blown the head gaskets. Are you loosing coolant?

The way you threw your number out there it is hard to tell what is going on. Check the temps at full operating temp cruising without a load at 65-70 mph. If the delta is more than 15* rebuild your oil cooler.

If you think you need to rebuild the oil cooler do it. It gets more expensive once the other stuff starts blowing.
