Outside Temp Sensor- where/how?

Hey all-

My external temp has stayed at 50* since I bought my truck a week ago. I am guessing it's a broken outside temp sensor, but wanted to see what the org thought. If it is indeed an outside temp sensor, where is it and how is it replaced? Thanks for the help!

Easy to replace ... it's right behind the grill on the driver's side ... pinned to a trim piece.

Did you get your outside temp fixed? I am having the same problem (stuck at 50*). I removed the sensor and tested it and it seems OK. What did you do to fix yours?

My outside temp gauge reads too high... I'm assuming the sensor is craped out. How much does a replacement go for?
