2007 F-350 DRW 6.0 powerstroke questions

Hello all. i am new to this forum and i will be picking up a 2007 f-350 next week. My questions are....
i have heard some negative things about this engine and i was wondering if there were changes throughout the years? is the 2007 any better than the earlier years? I have been doing some searching and I have read about some problems with the 2003/2004 but i haven't found anything on any changes.
any help here would be greatly appreciated.

any 05's-07 seem to be really well built.. no big problems with them.... congrats on the new rig

to the ORG. The 07 should be good to go. They redesigned the head gasket in 05, and changed the torque specs on the head bolts. You should not have too much trouble out of it. Get some pics up for us.

Picked it up today.....put on 500 miles and couldn't be happier.

Wait till the first time you really step on it.......when i did , i said holy crap!Had it four days and got a pesky speeding ticket when i passed an eighteen wheeler ,then slowed down real quick. I think the cop was envious of my truck and thought well ,if you can afford this you deserve a ticket! It reeked of "new truck" and rode smoother than my explorer.i didnt know i was doing 70 in a 55 till i looked at the speedo.
