Anyone missing spare tire?

So I have a 06 F-250 with no spare tire. There is no jack, wrench,or hoist handle. The spare tire hoist is even missing and no evidence of the hoist ever being there. Did Ford sell these trucks without spares? Anybody else missing theirs? Kinda bothering me Ill be SOL if i have a blowout.

If you bought the truck used, there's a good chance the prior owner removed all the stuff. I never heard of ford offering a spare tire delete option.

Well I thought the same thing but you would typically have marks where the bolts held the Hoist on, or at least i would think so. I see ppl leaving the spare and hardware out but wouldnt think they would crawl underneath and remove the hoist.

People do strange things, did you ever runs a oasis report or carfax, might be a salvaged or prior car accident repaired.

Yea thats true. I didnt run a carfax i did run another report no issues found. I have been trying to find out some info on the oasis. Can you run it online?

The spare tire tools are very expensive. Check out ebay and you'll see how much their making. I guess it's just another way for someone to make a buck at the expense of the new owner. My brother-in-law got his truck last year and it's missing the spare and tools too.

Yea Ive checked them out best bet is to go to the local junk yard and find it all. Dont care about the jack and wrench very much those are usually crap anyways.

The oasis report is a record ford keeps on there vehicles anytime the vehicle is brought in under warranty. Your gonna need the VIN, and start another thread on this forum (6.0 discussion) asking for a oasis report. Keep in mind the members on here who can get the report (ford service techs)do it as a favor for you, it may take a day or two to get back to you, and don't forget to Thank them.

there was/is a spare tire delete package you can order from ford to not get any of that stuff . fleets are usualy the ones who order it but there is a check box for it

WOW! I never knew that. Why the heck would you check off the spare delete!! Like I said, people do strange things!
