Yes and no. Yes because reports say the red fuel is the same as standard road fuel just not taxed and dyed. But no because it's illegal to run dyed fuel in an on-road vehicle. Now if you're only using it on the farm and not city/county/state roads, go for it.

The off-road diesel, is just diesel that doesn't meet the ULS spec of the EPA. For the 6.0's it shouldn't pose any risk to run. Check your local regs though about running it on the streets, there is suppose to be a dye in it and it can lead to a fine.

Thanks, I use the truck on the farm and they use the off road diesel in the 7.3's just didnt know if it would be a problem in a 6.0

Off-road fuel here has the ULSD rating.

I grabbed a 55gallon drum from work and harbor freight hand pump for this exact reason .

I used to run it all the time. Ran it for about a year, no adverse effects.

yes you can run it with no problems, if you have farm tags i believe it is legal to do so to.

Ran it for about a year and the injectors happened to go out. Ford said it was caused from off road fuel. They claim it is more abrasive than regular diesel. They refused to warranty the injectors..... $4400 dollars later, I decided to quit using it. I'm not sure it caused it, but I ain't tryin it again fo sho!
