What is your voltage at idle?
I have a edge cts insight and noticed that at idle my voltage would get a low as 12.4v for long periods of time. And sometimes I would get up to 14.0v at idle at time then it would drop down to 13.0v. Is that a normal voltage reading? I just replaced my batteries not even a month ago. Is this a sign of the alternator going bad? I noticed on the cts it sort of flickers when the voltage drops so low.

Not sure about the alternator, but it very well could be it.
I use a Scangauge II and it reads at idle 13.7-14.2. Never lower than that at idle. Do you have anything loading it? |

Check your ground connections. Especially the pass side in front of block where the battery ground cable gets bolted to the block.

I had similar readings and it ended up being my alternator. I would get it checked.
Mine reads 13.7 to 14.2 now. |

Mine never reads below 13.5

Sounds like your alternator.

Im leaning more towards alternator with all ya'lls replies. Does anyone know how many amps a 2003 f350 with the 6.0 alternator would put out?

There is two alternators if I remember correctly. A high output one and a standard one. A standard one should be fine unless you're drawing tons of power for accessories.
