Are you getting a rough running, cold start issue? If so, you might have what is called "stiction" which has to do with the spool valves in the injectors. You can try adding Rev-x to the oil which helps a lot and is way cheaper than injectors. REV-X Oil Additive | Diesel Fuel Additive | High Performance Oil It is designed to help cure the stiction issue.

there is no cold starting issues but there is a for sure rough running issue. when i add that additive doi need to do a fresh oil change?

RCD vs. Elite vs. Cass
The best advice I can give to you is read. Search, read, read, and then read some more. There is so much information on this forum as well as others that is quality, personal experience. I can't stress enough to do your research. A set of injectors, even stock reman's are over $2,000 if you start looking into performance injectors up to & over $3,500. These trucks are expensive! ![]() Good luck and don't be afraid to ask questions! |

Before I bought a set of injectors, I would do an oil change and add some Rev-X. I've used it in my truck for a rough running issue when cold and within 3 days it was gone.
