6.0 Exhaust
I have another question about my 6.0 Powerstroke. I bought the truck a few months back. Truck had a 6in straight pipe exhaust all the way back. I know these truck like a free flowing exhaust behind them but a few people have told me it is to big. They say that i am losing performance because it has to little back pressure? Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

back pressure on a turbocharged vehicle is completely retarded. Your turbo is your back pressure. the faster that turbo gets air in and out, the better.
you're fine with the 6" but I must admit that I am willing to bet a lot of money it sounds like a busted cornhole after chili night. |

No i dont think so anyways has a roar. But i will give it to you a smaller one might sound better. Never road in another 6.0 with a straight pipe actually. But i just thought it was odd they were saying i was losing performance from the size

I wanna see a video so I can hear that beast.
6" seems extremely large. Heck, I thought my 4" pipe was huge. And then my 6" tip! |
