Trade 08 6.4 for 07 6.0?

Okay guys.

First I have an 08 CC 2wd short bed that I bought 2 years ago. We use it for hauling the fiver and going to deer camp, that is basically it. In two years I have put 9300 miles on it... and 500 of that was driving it back from the dealer I found it at.

Now I have an opportunity to trade for a 2007 CC Long bed 4x4 with only 39,000 miles on it. Mint inside and out.

With my trade I would walk away with the 07 for $28,000. Basically my payment would drop 130/month, and I would be upgrading to a 4x4, no more DPF ( sucks), and getting a long bed.

I had an 03 7.3, ( wish I never sold it).

What would you do?

trade if you need a 4x4 and now youll have a engine that is a ton easier to work on and cheaper to fix.

find another 7.3 and trade for it

Trade it as long as it's in good shape. Still plenty in warranty so address everything that is known with those engines, mainly the coolant, and go from there.

Funny you should ask this question. Earlier in the week I posted just the opposite on the 6.4 forum as I was looking at going from an '04 F350 to a '10 F350 (link below). As you can tell, most of the 6.4 users told me to stick with the 6.0. Although to be honest, I LOVE the interior on the 6.4s so much more than mine. But for now, I stick with what I have.
