Turbo Compressor Wheel

So my dad wrecked his 06 6.0, and I also have an 06. It was totaled so we took everything that was still good off the motor for my truck in case anything were to ever go down (the insurance doesn't know this lol) Anyways me and him were talking about it and we dont really know so we would like some feedback. Instead of buying an aftermarket turbo, would it be possible to buy like a 64mm compressor wheel or any size bigger and put it in the factory turbo that came off his truck and make it work? and if so where can I buy one at?

Minimum, you'd have to have the original turbo machined to be able to fit a different wheel. Wouldn't be worth it in my opinion.
