Stock -VXCF9 - EGT Temp

Im running the VXCF9 strategy, and finally got an EGT probe installed after not having one since the strategy update. In my CCLB, EGR disabled,5" exhuast, lifted on 38" toyos w/ stock 3.73 gears from a WOT non boosted launch my EGT's will run up to 1150* before it hits 4th and they start coming down. The run was done with an IAT temp of 51* as well.

Im curious to see if others are experiencing the same temps?

2 years ago, running an older strat(unknown) with a Juice w/ att stacked on top of an edge evolution (both set to max hp) my EGT would only peak 1250-1270* before coming down. The edge was also set to NOT defuel.

I just find that there is only a 100* difference in stock, versus the higher power tune(s) of the generic Edge products i was running at the time, and it really bothers me.

1150 is the ballpark I run. All stock. No program mods same strategy.

yea, I had vxcf9 for a few months. This flash does run higher egts than normal.

i figured it was above 1000. but not 1150. like i said. i was only running 1250-1270 with stacked transmission eating power adders

Jay, I'll see temps just a bit cooler than that when stock, so it sounds about right.


Tuned I can see WAY over 1250
