Factory Black Turbo Boot?

I've looked at a few trucks and two of them have black turbo boots. Is this from the factory? DieselSite has black boots with their name printed on and I could not find this on the trucks.

It may not be a big deal, but I do not want to buy a truck that has been modded previously. Help!

the one right before the intake is black. it is on my 03 6.0. the rest of them should be blue

The truck is a 2006 and the boot is at the turbo outlet. Here is a picture of one of the trucks.

mine was blue when i got my 06. Id say those are aftermarket. Maybe not a big deal because some of the oem boots blew off or got too oil soaked.

in that pic it almost looks like its so filthy and oil soaked that it was at one time blue.

Agreed, it's just oil soaked.

Some on my '04 are factory black, some blue.

Ya ya I know. This truck has zero on the OASIS report, that's why I'm skittish. Meaning to me the truck was a perfect runner with great maintenance or the previous owner didn't have a clue!
