With the Tow or Street tune loaded I get smoke on cold starts every time that clears up in a matter of a few seconds to a minute or two depending on the temp outside. When I put the stock flash back it goes away. Eric turned off the EGR so I think that is it but just wanted to check.
Mine does it too with my x3, I keep changing my tunes to see if one is better than the other on startup. The unburnt fuel really bothers me, If you walk thru it, or if it blows into the cab of your truck, it sticks to your clothes and your interior.
, and it makes me kinda sick.
I'm not real clear as the reason why, but If you have sticktion issues, Eric might recommend that you try to solve it (Rev X has the best track record for this) to help with this smoking issue. I just added two bottles to Rev-X, but only idle the truck for 10 minutes since then.
