Smoke on start up

With the Tow or Street tune loaded I get smoke on cold starts every time that clears up in a matter of a few seconds to a minute or two depending on the temp outside. When I put the stock flash back it goes away. Eric turned off the EGR so I think that is it but just wanted to check.

Should also add there has been zero coolant loss.

It is just unburnt fuel because the combustion chamber is so cold. Nothing to worry about.

Mine does it with the tune as well.

It is weird because it does not do it with the stock tune installed. Tried it this morning. Is it because they have the EGR turned off with the tune?

No, its the added fuel.

Mine does it too with my x3, I keep changing my tunes to see if one is better than the other on startup. The unburnt fuel really bothers me, If you walk thru it, or if it blows into the cab of your truck, it sticks to your clothes and your interior. , and it makes me kinda sick.

I'm not real clear as the reason why, but If you have sticktion issues, Eric might recommend that you try to solve it (Rev X has the best track record for this) to help with this smoking issue. I just added two bottles to Rev-X, but only idle the truck for 10 minutes since then.
