Or maybe, what is wrong with this truck. I have been looking for an Excursion diesel for a short while. I came across this one. It looks great and the dealer describes it as very good condition, 2 owner, has the service history from Ford (which looks good as well.)

It is 2-5K below comparable ones I have seen for sale. It is about 4.5 hour drive, so I can't just go look at it.

What do you see in the pics that causes you concern? Does this look like a good deal?

Youn need to get an OASIS report on it to see what the service history for the vehicle is. One way to get one is to take the VIN for the vehicle to a ford dealer and have them run it. Some people get them run online somewhere too that I cant remember.

A member here was kind enough to run it for me. Several entries on delivery for paint around the tailights (assume shipping damage), has had the DVD player replaced, and thermostat. Nothing major.
