Mine is on the driver side manifold, just before the bend to go to the up-pipe...
Check out the instructions at Diesel Manor... http://www.dieselmanor.com/diy/PSD3-gauge/image24.htm

Nah, it really isn't that bad and doesn't take very long at all.

when i did mine it took me about an hr to drill the hole. but i took my grand old time doing it too. i used a good set of drill bits (where each bit is around a 1/64th bigger) and did one bit at a time until the size needed (i forget by now). i spun the drill fast put pushed lightly to get small little bits and put a shopvac over the hole every time.

incase that helps.

Drivers manafold, at the end before the bend. It is easy unless you have worn out pipe tap like I did at 7pm on a SUNDAY when you need your truck in the am.

Yea, that one sucked. Somehow there was a napa open with the correct pipe tap, $1 my price.

It will either be a PIA or easy sailing.

If you are like me, the easy crap turns into a crazy time. I can change a motor in a car in 1/2 time most people can, but when I go to change oil, something stupid happens like my wife gets the wrong filter and I have the oil draining at 12am.

Rant lol
