Going to order an SCT next week.. Questions..
So first off I’m going to order the SCT X3. My questions are, Does it matter where I get it from? Is one place better then another for some reason? My truck is all stock besides a lift, 35’s and a turbo back 4” MBRP no cat or muff. I have the ford ESP on it. I talked to a mechanic at my local ford dealer and he said that if I have any issues with my truck to return the truck to stock setting and that no one would know I had a programmer on my truck and they would cover any issues, is this true? It there any way that ford would know I had a tune in my truck? And last of all what would be a good all around tune that I should get? I was the most power I can have with out having problems. I don’t beat the crap out of my truck but would like to spin the tires and take off hard here and there. And I would love to see some smoke too! Any help? Thanks. Oh and I just ordered an edge insight cts so im good there!

search the forum, if they pull ur heads off they can tell it was tuned, and with the cts u will be able to monitor the egt's to keep ur motor in one piece, my advice, before the sct get a coolant filter kit....

I have looked around a bit, I saw someone say that with their tunes there is no evidence left behind. Can't remember where I saw it. Thanks.

if they searched they prob would find a trace of something... and as far as a tuner goes i suggest a custom tuned X3 with innovative diesel tunes like this: SCT X3 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunning
