mobil 1 anyone

Anyone running mobil1 cj4 oil. How do you like it. anyone done longevity tests. I run delo now but have a chance to get a few gallons of the mobil for about 7 bucks a gallon but never heard any thing at all about this oil. Worried about how bad these motors shear oil.

Any specific reasons you didn't like it. I've ran it I gassers before and had good luck but with diesels well I ran what the airforce provided. Ive had good ran both rottela delo didn't like rotella as it always smells a bit burnt when I drained it. Never had a problem with the delo though.

I like it. It is "Mobil1". Many car makers recommend them for their cars. I have a Mercedes and Porsche's that vouch for them.

I am in the process of testing the longevity of this oil. I only have 5,000 miles on it so far. I will be posting my results on the forums.

I love the way my truck responds with Mobil 1 it's just hard to find the diesel 5w40 now for some reason. If you can get it for $7 BUY IT UP!!

It is one of the cheaper oils in the synthetic game but the way the 6.0 shears and at that price get it and change it out at 5k.

I only buy it when it is on sale. For me on sale is under $21 per gallon or per 5 quart jug, not sure...
So I stock it up.

I run Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5w-40 with great results! Get it at Walmart, they got the motorcraft filter there as well.

I would think this is as good as it gets for full synthetic oil.

Disregard what I said. I thought you were talking about Mobil Delvac. I have not tried Mobil 1
