Just out of curiosity, Why?

I just bought a sct sf3 and put it on performance tune. I was expecting to role some coal but nothing at all comes out of the exhaust. What is up with that? The programmer is definatly working at 100% but nothing? I understand that some people dont like the smoke and clean is better but im just wondering why? I have had 3 different programmer hooked up to that truck at the top setting and not one has made smoke but on all my buddies trucks with the same programmers they role some serious smoke. I just want to know why i am not. Thanks (2004 6.0 with turbo back 4in and an intake and sct sf3)

Most canned tunes won't smoke need custom tunes to get that effect.

Because your injectors are working better than theirs? If they are making smoke and you're not, you should be making more power than them since they are dumping fuel out the back.

You may be lacking fuel as well. But it's not a bad thing if it doesn't smoke.

I'm running an sct with an ID extreme street, i only get smoke if I really step on it, but even then it's just a little puff.

You don't always want the ricer your beating down on to know how hard you are on the skinny pedal, or the cop 5 cars back you didn't see. lol

I have tried boost launching it with out the launch, full throtle from 0-80, nothing not even a puff. How could i tell if my truck is running lean? Could it be smokless because of the k and n intake, iv read somewhere that if you put the stock intake back on it will do the trick?
