Gear Ratio

Ive been searching around and i cant see where it tells me the gear ratio of my truck.

I am about to order my programmer and since i have larger then stock tires and wheels they need my gear ratios.

Where can i find that info and be sure i give them the correct numbers?

I believe you can take (0r call)your VIN number to a dealer, and the should be able to tell you.

Driver's side door there is a sticker there with the weights, tire sizes etc. Towards the bottom there will be a column labeled "axle". That will be your ratio. 3L being pretty much the most common, 3.73 limited slip. I don't remember off the top of my head what the 4.10 ratio listing is.

Ah ok cool thanks. Am i correct to assume the front axle is the same as a rear?

On your door sticker look at the code under Axle like in the pic below. If you have a 3L code it's a 3.73 with a limited-slip in the rear. If your code is different someone here can probably tell you what ratio you have. Also, your front and rear ratios will be the same.

Ok thanks guys mine says 3L so it's a 373 now I can place my order for my programer and thermocouple setup and start my mods
