ECT and EOT Code

Question,
Does anybody know if a code would be thrown when there is a difference between EOT and ECT?? And if so how much differential. 05 f350 102K

With the latest flash from ford, YES it will throw a CEL It has to be a 15 degree difference if I am not mistaken..

I know the difference should not exceed 15 degrees for extended periods of time but not sure if it would cause a code.

I did a lot of research and I think Sinister has the best quality. It worked out quite nice for me. I would highly recommend it!!!

That code is not thrown for all model years - only 05 and up I believe.

i have 30-50 deg differance yfor over a year now before and after a new egr and oil cooler installed and still the same spread. tonight did multi flushes again and put in a new tsat cause. i was 185 ect, with new tsat its 180 deg ect i fing give up this junker is going back to the retards at ford. im buying a f350 gasser and a supercharger. ps no code for the big spread 2006 powerchoke

Your also gonna need to replace the oil cooler, that is why your getting the code. The oil cooler is blocked up.
