I can not tell you how good the truck is, but you need to find out how it was treated, warranty work, maintenance record(eng oil change, trans oil change, fuel filters....), if there was any tuning on there, if he has gauges he most likely had or has tuning, how it starts in the cold, coolant coming out of the degas bottle after a gooooooood loooooong hard run, how quick the turbo spool up is, why he is selling it, how long has he had it, how many owners, look at the color of the engine oil, trans oil and level hot and cold.

A little more info about the truck from one of my previous post.

A local dealer has this truck for-sale. He says he doesn't know a lot about it, so I thought I'd give this a shot and see if it used to be anyone's on here. I'm tossing around the idea of buying the truck but it has had a programer on it and is still programed hotter than stock, and the guy doesn't have the programer. I told him if he couldn't get it back to the stock settings I wasn't interested. I believe it's and sct tune because it has a sct decal on the back window. Is it something to be worried about?

If he doesn't have the programmer for it anymore, then you or him will have to pay to have it reflashed back to stock tune.

Yeah after looking around at other's, it is high for a salvage. He's gonna have to come down a bit or give me a pretty penny for my chevy. I just wanna get back in a I miss it like crazy

make sure its something you really like and can live with if you go salvage, theres alot of negatives to a salvage title. mainly the resell is the worst so like i said make sure its not going to be something you want to keep a couple months and want to sell
