Does my '07 F350 6.0 have replacable motor mounts?
I get a knock type sound right where I would guess a motor mount would be on the driverside, when it starts (sometimes) and when I am on fire roads or hit speed bumps on occasion. If this was any of my other vehicles I would have replaced the mounts already. But I cant seem to find any info that they are even sold online. Leading me to believe that is this a direct engine to frame attachment? Or ?

check your lower shock mounts and sway bar bushings, could be the famous clunk everyone runs into.

The mounts are available. ou can check tasca ford parts online. They are about the cheapest place to get any ford parts. But like stated above, check all of the bushings on the shocks, swaybar and trackbar.

I recently did new 5160 shocks, and did check every thing I could get a impact on, and a socket as well as body mounts etc...
it mostly is noticable when the rear tire just starts to hit a 'bump' or something of any real size. |

Thank you for the reference to Tasca. I have an F150 that needs a new coil pack and the local Ford dealership here quoted me $138.87. The same part at Tasca is $69.66 plus some shipping. WOW!
