Question Ficm Blues

So I got a new ficm and I still have the cold start and runs ruff until warm. I tested my ficm and koeo it reads 48 volts. Now when I start the truck it only reads 38 volts. If I beefed it up to 58 volts would this help me out or do anything at all.?

A member on here he said it worked perfect when he took it out. Is there anything else that could make it drop like that? Glow plug module? Truck has new alternator and both batteries less than a year old.

Check supply voltage to FICM and see if it drops during cranking. If it's being supplied sufficient voltage and is still dropping under load then the FICM is no good. If the FICM checks out it could be injectors.

FICM BLUESSSS

I am having the same problem with the engine running like junk when cold but when it warms up all the problems go away. I was told that an easy fix is to have the computer flashed at ford and this might fix the problem. I am also having a turbo lag until about 2500 rpm and then its gone like a bullet.... HELP what do you think

The voltage is going to drop if the glow plug control module is plugged in. Unplug that and then test your voltage.
