Not a stupid question at all, i spent forever looking for exhaust for mine.
coming from a regular cab, long bed owner. when i ordered my kit, i bought the diamond eye kit and it says it fits all cab and bed cnfigurations. i had to cut one peice to length and then i was finished. I had alot of extra piping left. basically you buy the extended cab/crew long bed kit and you will have plenty of extra piping. i had the hardest time finding exhaust until i talked to the company and they say you just cut it down to fit
now mbrp sells a regular cab adapter. now why would you pay more $$$ for a peice of piping that is short when they give you a longer one in the kit that you can just cut down to size. i dont know, just seems like a waste to me. i guess its nice if you dont own any type of saw.
