154k Miles...it had a good run

Truck: Hi Ben, how are you?
Me: I'm good, what are you up to?
Truck: Oh, not much...hey, Happy New Year!
Me: Hey thanks, that's nice of you to...
Truck: Yeah yeah...hey, I need a new HPOP.
Me: You bastard...

Yes it's true, my HPOP has finally decided to go out after 154k miles. Turns out thats what was the starting/cutting itself off, feeling sluggish lately issue. Not real upset...154k miles is a good run...but hey, Happy New Year to me...$1200 repairs later.

Hell no it doesnt. I pulled them RCD injectors out months ago and haven't had an issue since. Even if it was the HPOP going, how do you explain the injector falling apart in the cylinder? Sorry to be a little on edge about it, just sick of people saying my truck caused it.

In other news, I'm debating on just doing an EGR delete and all that while the shop has it all torn apart. Either way, it's gonna be a quick fix cuz I gotta drive to Texas next Saturday.

Ehhh... No.

If you haven't watched his videos check them out. No way that was HPOP related at the time. He took the RCD's out, put a USED set of stockers in and it ran great.

It was a slow gradual death lol Its felt really sluggish the past few weeks, then did what it was doing in the videos. My buddy vance hooked up his MODIS while I was driving it around and the High Oil pressure doesnt keep up whenever I get on it. Does fine just cruising, but dont expect to leave a stoplight normally LOL.
