Which Batterys?

Ok my truck is due for new battery's. I went to the Ford dealership by my house and they told me 120 a piece for the 800 cca. My question is for you guys are the Optima battery's better? I see they are a lot more money over all. For example the Optima 900 cca yellowtops are 226 per battery. Just curious if they are worth the money. Thanks

imho i dont like optima batterys at all they have there purpose ie can be mounted upsidedown and dont offgass poisonious gasses. which is good for mounting them in boats and rvs near sleeping quarters. What i use and use lots of them for years is US battery company search them on the web a awesome AMERICAN company. very commom if taken care of to get ten good years out of there batterys. so same price as interstate better batt and made in good old USA. I like optima batteries they are great but they go bad every 4 years or so. I buy new ones and then have the old ones warrantied out.

Best..Sears Platinum..re-badged Hawker Odyssey ..48 month exchange plus additional 52 months prorated..100 months total. Can't buy a better battery..both about $400 out the door.

I did some research when I needed to get batteries 3 months ago. I got motorcraft 850. They have a really good warranty, and really good quality. I think they were between $100 and $115. Call the dealerships arround you and see how much they are.

I went with the autozone 1000cca. Never had a issue and they have a store almost everywhere if you need to get it warrantied. I bought them in a set and was told they would warranty them as a set if I had a issue. They sounded 110% better turning the starter then the stockers did on my 04. I will again get them next go round on my 06.

i had an optima in my old camaro and i went through two of them within a year, ive got interstates in my truck now and have had no complaints
