Bypass filters

Hey everyone, sorry for the ignorant questions but I tried to search and couldn't quite find what I was looking for.

What are the benefits of doing the bypass filter, and what kit have you guys found to be the best?

Thanks for your help

cleaner oil flowing through out the engine, longer engine and engine parts life (injectors). Depending on the oil analysis results, longer oil change intervals.

The kits are over $300. I bought the parts individually. I found the filter mount on ebay for $20 + $9 shipping and the oil filte cap from NUC motor sports for ~$60 + ~$10 shipping. Fittings and hoses from nearby stores. ~20.
