SCT X3 Power-up?

Plugged in my SCT X3 today to do some quick stuff, and got nothing? No back-lighting and no words on the screen. I've tuned and de-tuned several times, so this should be a no-brainer. Tried it more than several times (unplugged and plugged in). Nothing. Checked the OBD2 and SCT plugs for an obvious visible problem. Nothing. Tried plugging it in with the truck keys in the ACC position. Nothing. The X3 has been in the original box in the closet for the entire time that it wasn't being used, and has never been damaged in the slightest way. Any ideas? Maybe a fuse for the OBD2 is blown??? Too cold tonight to go rule out things. Gona have to do it when it is nice outside and I have some time. Truck currently runs great on the installed custom tune. Thanks in advance for any help.

Fuse would be my first thought. On my '05 it's a shared fuse between OBD2 and cigarette lighter, fuse #12.

Have not done that. Would it tell me if the unit has a problem? Also, would I need to download the SCT software to my new computer prior to plugging it in?

Plug it in to your pc just long enough to see if it powers up. Don't need the software. At least it'll narrow the problem down to your tuner, or OBD2 port. If it works, then check out Davey~do's idea.

Just plugged it into the Laptop, and it started it's power-up cycle. Looks like we may have a winner. I'll check the fuses tomorrow. Thanks for the quick posts guys.

Fuse was blown. Replaced it, and all is fine.
